Booking & App Usage

How do I book a salon appointment on Haal?

Open the Haal Salon app, choose your preferred service (haircut, facial, massage, threading, etc.), select a nearby salon, pick an available time slot, and confirm your booking instantly. You'll receive a booking confirmation notification on your phone.

Can I reschedule or cancel my salon booking?

Yes. Go to My Bookings in the app, tap your appointment, and choose Reschedule or Cancel. Reschedule policies and cancellation windows may vary by salon — check the booking details for specifics.

How do I find the best salons near me?

Haal uses your device location to show nearby salons, spas, and barber shops. Filter results by service type, customer ratings, price range, and real-time availability to find your perfect salon.

Can I book appointments for someone else?

Yes, you can book on behalf of a family member or friend. During checkout, add the guest's name and contact details in the booking notes so the salon is prepared.

How far in advance can I book an appointment?

You can book salon appointments up to 30 days in advance. Same-day bookings are also supported at participating salons, subject to availability.

Payments & Refunds

Are payments on Haal secure?

Absolutely. All transactions on the Haal Salon app are processed through encrypted, PCI-compliant payment gateways. Your card details and financial data are never stored on our servers.

What payment methods does Haal accept?

Haal supports UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and select digital wallets in India. International card payments are supported for users in the UK, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.

Can I pay at the salon instead of online?

Yes. Depending on the salon's preferences, both online pre-payment and walk-in cash/card payment options may be available at the time of booking.

How do I get a refund for a cancelled appointment?

If you cancel within the salon's refund window, your payment is automatically refunded to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. Contact us at Info@bookgentl.com if you don't receive your refund in time.

I was charged but my booking failed. What do I do?

Don't worry. If your payment was deducted but the booking wasn't confirmed, the amount will be refunded automatically within 3–5 business days. If it takes longer, email us at Info@bookgentl.com with your transaction reference.

Account & Notifications

Will I get reminders before my appointment?

Yes. Haal sends automated push notifications and smart reminders before your appointment time so you never miss your scheduled self-care session.

How do I update my profile or phone number?

Go to Profile in the app, tap Edit Profile, and update your name, phone number, or email address. Verify the new number via OTP if required.

How do I delete my Haal account?

To delete your account and all associated data, email us at Info@bookgentl.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" from your registered email address. We'll process it within 7 working days.

I forgot my password / can't log in. What should I do?

Haal uses OTP-based login via your registered mobile number, so you don't need a password. If you're unable to receive OTPs, check your network connection or contact support.

How do I register my salon on Haal?

Can I manage multiple stylists and schedules?

Yes. The Haal salon dashboard lets you manage multiple staff members, set individual working hours, assign services per stylist, and view bookings in real-time — all from one place.

How do I receive payments from online bookings?

Payments collected through Haal are settled directly to your registered bank account on a regular payout cycle. Our team will explain the settlement schedule during onboarding.

Is Haal available for salons outside India?

Yes. Haal Salon is available for salon businesses in India, United Kingdom (London), Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. If your country isn't listed, contact us — we're expanding fast.

App & Technical Issues

The Haal app is not opening / crashing. What should I do?

Try force-closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, check the Play Store for a pending update. Clearing the app cache (Settings → Apps → Haal → Clear Cache) often resolves most crashes.

I'm not receiving OTPs for login. What should I do?

Check your SMS inbox and ensure you have network coverage. If you're on Do Not Disturb mode, OTPs may be blocked. Wait 60 seconds and use the "Resend OTP" option. If the issue continues, contact support.

The app is slow or not loading properly. How do I fix this?

A slow connection is often the cause. Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data. Restarting the app or your device usually resolves temporary loading issues.

Where can I download the Haal Salon app?

Haal Salon is available on the Google Play Store. An iOS version is coming soon. Search "Haal Salon" to find and install the app.

How does Haal protect my personal data?

Does Haal share my contact details with salons?

Only the information necessary to complete your booking (name and contact) is shared with the salon you book. We never share your financial or payment data with any salon partner.

Why does Haal need my location?

Location access helps Haal show you the nearest salons and spas, provide accurate distance information, and deliver location-relevant recommendations. You can manage location permissions from your phone settings anytime.
